Guitar, Keys, Bass, Drums, Accordion John, a.k.a. Jackie, is a student at Grossmont College. Besides playing in JJ KAS, Jackie also plays drums in the band at Journey Community Church for the College ministry on Sunday evenings. Prior to that he played drums for the high school band for 4 years and bass for the Middle School band for 3 years. He is also busy playing keys with his own band. When JJ KAS decided to reproduce the entire Snow Goose Opus, we had one problem, no electric guitar player. We asked Jackie if we bought him an electric guitar would he learn to play it. In no time, without a lesson, he has taught himself the instrument totally by ear by picking his parts off the record, reproducing guitar parts from one of the greatest guitar players of all time, Andrew Latimer.
